The Danish Agricultural and Fisheries Agency has a Wood Packaging Materials Treatment and Marking Scheme, based upon The EU Plant Health Regulation 2016/2031 art. 96-98 and requirements as set out in the International Standards on Phytosanitary Measures No. 15: ’Regulation of Wood Packaging Materials in International Trade’, FAO, (ISPM-15 henceforward).
The Danish Wood Packaging Materials Treatment and Marking Scheme is regulated through a governmental Order and further detailed in company guidelines (latest version March 2020) issued by the Danish Agricultural and Fisheries Agency.
To obtain certification, Danish companies wishing to use the internationally recognized and protected mark must be approved by the Danish Agricultural and Fisheries Agency, being the sole National Plant Protection Organization of Denmark.
